Wowee! Horaay for Angels! Tonight I had my first angel gathering at my house with 3 others from my new MeetUp and it was fabulous. Although I was somewhat exhausted an hour beforehand, wondering how I would be able to connect to my center and hold space, it unfolded perfectly. We opened with a wonderful meditation and then I explained a few basics around how to do Angel Card readings, then we jumped into it and started doing readings for each other. The whole room was filled with lightbeings... just sitting here now everything still looks all shiney and wonderful candles glimmering, stargazer lilies in full bloom, wonderful magical altars ablaze with crystals and energy. What a wonderful temple our house has become!
I received 2 wonderful readings...
The first was by Kristin and I asked the angels how I can move into the next phase of my spiritual life service to humanity with more confidence and focus. The messages which came through were amazing! The angels said that I would be connecting with my galactic starbeing family in a brand new way, and that I may even be getting a new guide sent to me specifically to assist me in the transition into this new angelic life path. Wow! It was interesting because that card said "family" and in the past it always kind of gave me the willies because I haven't been ready to start a new family... but when Kristin focused on what looked like an extraterrestrial energy above the angel in the image, it all started giving me goosebumps and sounding exciting. This had some strong meaning for me especially because I attended a Soul being workshop lately where we connected with our intergalactic star origins... the facilitator called me out to stand up at the event as representative of someone clearly connected with the planet Hadar, an origin which indicated that my soul is most interested in the exploration of divine love through playfulness, creativity, living from my heart. I have her book and haven't explored the whole Hadar thing much yet... but this angel reading has inspired me to do some vision work around it. BTW, the image on this blog is an actual photo of the planet Hadar in the Alpha Centuri system!
The second card she drew for me was Omega, a rearing unicorn, and she commented that the angels want me to know how truely special I am -- that I may not even be aware of how special I am, but that I do stand out like a unicorn in a crowd and that unconditional success is guaranteed to me on this new path. Pretty exciting clear communication. The final card was about a family member in heaven who is by my side during these times.. I felt pretty strongly that this is Grandma. When she passed recently is when all of these changes started accelerating in my life and leading me to question everything. I feel her amazing faith in the unseen realm is a gift she is trying to give to me at this time to help on the path. Thanks Grammie!
Then I gave a reading to Kristin. I love the feeling of opening to channel messages. It is a delicious feeling of trusting, opening my heart and just letting my intuition guide me in holding space. Thank you! I am so grateful that the messages are flowing with so much ease and clarity! Doing my own readings daily for the past couple weeks has really helped me feel more confident and cozy with the angels ;)
After the one on one readings, we did readings as a group for each other, each pulling 3 cards for a person and sharing our impressions -- asking the angels for insight about whatever information we need to know in our lives now. My cards were amazing! Robert's reading was especially auspicious, with Clairvoyance, Clairsentience and Claircognizance as the exact three he drew for me! Since I am focusing on developing these psychic skills right now, it was a bit incredible that he drew those three cards. Other cards which came up for me had to do with the Ocean, prompting Rachel to mention to me that she clearly perceives me as a MerAngel (in Doreen's classification system of incarnated angels). I have always been attracted to both the realms of mermaids and angels, so this had some yummy resonance with me.
I have to say that I love working with the realms of intuitive spiritual guidance. Working with meditations, art, visualizations and cards, especially, opens my imagination to reconsider the linear issues of life in such spectacular, technicolor, spiraling ways! I love how fun it all is, divine love play. What I love is that the work calls me to step into my higher self and into unconditional love. It is so empowering to speak the words that I feel the angels lead me to share and notice the special moments where I wouldn't personally have chosen to say things in the way they emerge from my mouth. A process of trusting! Kind of remarkable that I even made $45 for holding space to boot. It really was a challenge for me to feel worthy of charging money for holding this event since I feel like such a novice in some regards ... but the Course in Miracles has really been helping in this regard. Inspiring passages from ACIM which gave me strength: "To teach is to learn, so the teacher and the learner are the same." "To teach is to demonstrate... From your demonstration, others learn and so do you. The question is not whether you will teach, for in that there is no choice." "[The teachers of God] are not perfect or they would not be here. Yet it is their mission to become perfect here, and so they teach perfection over and over in many, many ways until they have learned it." "Teaching but reinforces what you believe about yourself. Its fundamental purpose is to diminish self doubt." "A teacher of God is anyone who choose to be one... when he is ready to learn, the opportunities to teach will be provided for him." I am so grateful! The night closed with lots of warm fuzzies, smiles and excitement about our next gathering.
