This past weekend I traveled 4 hours north to the Avenue of the Giants. What a tremendous place. Being surrounded by ancient redwood trees of such life experience and size was humbling and inspiring in every level! I laid my head against them and just enjoyed being and breathing in their energy. Imagining that some trees had been standing for up to 2000 years was SO moving -- I imagined a single tree under my hands growing while Jesus, Lao Tzu, and Buddha walked the Earth, through so many remarkable events across space and time! When the land was all walked by Native Americans where I stood. When the air and water was pure and clean. When the whales were plentiful and safe. So many lives over time, so many evolutions and changes. The forests were cool and just touching and placing my head against many trees felt amazing. So tall! I craned my neck back and they still went higher. What wise, wise, wise beings. True giants. I wish I had had more time with them, but I actually had gone up there for a wedding. I do hope to return soon and hike the area more extensively.
On the way I also stopped by the home of my friend, Dawn. I am SO proud of her! She and her husband now have a massive eco-conscious straw bale home of gorgeous design on a 5 acre property in Willits. The shapes inside are all organic and wonderful. It has bamboo flooring with heating underneath, beautiful round windows, curving dorrways and whole logs exposed, a great deck, kitchen... just top to bottom, a wonderful cozy and magical hobbit home. It is modeled after the human chakra system, so each room has been placed with purpose. Being there made me realize how strongly I have a heart's desire for a home as well... so I have decided to replace my the #3 on my current Heart's Desire list with a home. I love it when I have friends demonstrate the amazing power of what is possible!
Today I also had an amazing theta healing session with Dawn as well, by phone. A massive explosion in my awareness! So much... I've also been reading Glenda Green's Love Without End: Jesus Speaks. WOW! It is my companion guide for A New Earth but in narrative, first person form. I am absolutely moved.
