I am so happy to live in Mill Valley! I love driving over the Golden Gate Bridge. I love watching the gleaming water and the sun on the water and the rolling green hills. I love driving through the tunnel with a rainbow painted on the side as I go north. I adore cresting the hill and descending into the valley. The feeling which sweeps over me is one of expansive possibility and calm. I instantly feel grounded and connected to the earth as I notice big trees towering on the sides of the freeway. I love looking out over Sausilito and seeing the beautiful water, boats and homes beaming from their hillside perches. It is so nice to see the expanse of Tiburon and appreciate it's abundance and magesty. I love thinking of all the happy successful people who are living in those places as I pass by, and I send blessings.
As I enter Mill Valley, I really take time to appreciate the smallness and slowness. I love the teak sales stand with kids jungle gyms and patio furniture for sale. I love the stand selling fruits and vegetables at the corner which goes up to my mom's gorgeous glass house. I love knowing that street also goes to glorious trails which connect to the ocean. I love passing the street which leads to Muir Woods and Stinson Beach, remembering how wonderful it is to visit those places and knowing how close to them I now am.
I love passing the many small businesses, resolute in their determination to succeed despite all odds! I love the many, many healing centers, the spiritual and yoga centers, the Whole Foods, the diversity of gourmet foods and all the cute random high end shops. I love the beauty of the high school with all it's Spanish tile roofs and big campus and abundant fields with healthy kids almost always playing soccer, laccrose or some other sport.
I especially love when the trees start getting big along the sides of the road and Mt. Tam looms into view, overlooking the whole valley like a magical, ancient guardian. I love the spirit of this mountain! I feel it's wisdom and strength and patience. It really delights me that the speed limit is 30 miles per hour! It feels so good to slow down my speed and focus on my breath and basking in the glow of being.
The town center is one of my favorite places! There are always lots of cute kids and families and dogs playing at the town square and it has a wonderful, homey vibe. I love the wholesomeness of it all! It feels like homebaked apple pies and hot cocoa! I love the artists here, living in their mountain retreats, being creative and relaxing. I love the old people who live here and smile while they drink coffee. I love all the women who seem so relaxed in their skin and content to move at their own natural speed. All the women with spaceage baby strollers are delightful to watch as well!
I really appreciate that people who live here look like they really take care of themselves. I deeply appreciate the beauty of the houses here, some modern, some quaint and elaborate, the yards, cars, birds and grass. I love that the police and parking officers usually don't give you a ticket if you talk to them. I love that the meters use only 25 cents for 30 minutes. I SO appreciate that everything I need is so close! Wonderful foods, resturants, bookstore, cafes, shops... it is all here! I am especially elated that so many blissful hiking trails are so very close to me! I am so excited to explore and adventure in the green and walk on the earth.
My new home is a sanctuary of JOY! I LOVE my apartment!! I adore the wood cathedral ceilings and floors, the big fireplace, the big balcony, my dance studio, loft bedroom, big closet, fantastic kitchen and living room. I have happy, young, smiling neighbors who are kind and vibrant. I love that I don't share any walls with neighbors. I LOVE my parking space!!!! So cool! I'm on top of the world for the grove of redwood trees right outside my window, overlooking my entire place. And I also just want to squeal with delight in celebration of how the sunlight streams in around 7:30 in the morning and warms my entire cottage. I am SO lucky! I love how nice and quiet it is in here and how deeply and restfully I sleep.
I am SO happy here! I know I am exactly where I belong. I so appreciate how it feels like a retreat center. I an so grateful for the opportunity to reflect and restore my body, mind and spirit. I am full of anticipation and excitement to see what magical miracle unfolds next to amplify my appreciation of being here even more! Thank you!

I am so, so, so, so happy for you! I bought a house in Mill Valley today (vibrationally) because I was sucked in to your vortex!!! And I love Redwoods too :).
