Things I love about my new home..

 

I love the lamp which mom gave me yesterday, sculpted like a metal tree at the base and with colorful orange and yellow mosaic glass pieces on top. It's beauty warms my heart! It gives my cottage a wonderful homey feel. Yay!

I love the fluffy, white sheepskin rugs I got today! They make my home snuggly and wonderful. I love that there is one right next to my bed in my loft so my toes can be super warm the moment I step out of bed. Sweet!

I love my big widows! I love that they let me see all the green and browns of nature right outside my home. I love that I can see people walking on the street, with dogs, kids, groceries and feel the gentle flow of life happening.

I am so grateful for my ceilings! I love that they are high and in a "V" shape, with thick wood cross beams which make me think of a mountain ski lodge. I love the warmth of the wood and the character of each piece.

I love my loft! It is so cute. I love that my ladder is strong and stable and easy to climb up and down. I love how snuggly my bed is up there. I love that I can look down into my livingroom from up high. I'm grateful for my lotus lamp by my bedside and my goddess altar with crystals near my feet.

I love all my dear, beloved plants!!! I am so lucky to care for all these magnificent green beings who share so much vitality and oxygen with me. Thank you!

I adore my cute, little kitchen table and my chair. I love my sofa! I love my compact desk and it's antique feel. I love my wood bureau and how clean the lines are and how beautiful the wood is. I love my awesome fireplace!!!! Yaayayay! I love how easily it works and how clean and tidy it is. I love my kitchen! Everything has just the right place to be in and I love how it looks out into the livingroom. I love all my closets! I really, really, love my floors, which are all wood and super smooth and light colored wood. I love my big deck and my view. I love my plumbing! I love how fast the hot water flows in the bathtub and how much hot water there is! I love the heating system! I adore that I can warm the space to the perfect temperature for me in a jiffy. I love the energy here! I The moment I pull in the driveway and into my parking space I feel my nervous system relax. As I walk up to my door I feel at home. When I walk in, my whole body is relieved and bathed in joy. 

I am so grateful for this sanctuary!
