I am reading a powerful book by David Deida called, "Intimate Communion: Awakening Your Sexual Essence". It is inspiring me to think deeply about love, relationships and transmitting sensual energy. It talks about how sexual tension in relationships is created between partners who have polarities which complement each other. The book explores how how men and women can embody varying degrees of masculine and feminine energy and how this can get thrown off balance. Also explored are levels of awareness in relationship, from base level to spiritual... While this three sentence description is a vast oversimplification, I have to say that the material has got me thinking deeply about my essence~ how much is feminine, how much is masculine and why. I realize that by becoming aware of these polarities and how to consciously shift them, I can inhabit a sensual vibration of my choosing... AND that this can accelerate my spiritual awakening as well!
I've been wanting to write about this for days, but really, am swimming in realizations and excitment. I'm a bit too buzzy at the moment to get into it, but I have embarked upon a deep exploration. I am intrigued by the power of love, emotional intimacy and fully inhabiting an divine feminine vibration... more soon!
