Own Your Nectar

As I mentioned a while back, I've been super inspired by David Deida's book, Intimate Communion, which explores how deliberately cultivating masculine and feminine sexual essences can amplify polarity in romantic relationships. I recently attended a women's circle in San Francisco inspired by this work and had an incredibly scrumptious experience! The evening consisted mostly of interactive exercises shared between women in pairs of two (most of whom had never met) sharing incredibly deep and personal feelings and also providing intuitive reflection to each other.

What I got from this gathering was the importance of owning your nectar. Each person has a uniquely delicious sweetness inside ... a special array of gifts which is divine to behold. When we open our hearts and look others deeply in the eyes, keenly looking for the mysterious magic they carry, it attunes us to a different frequency. Suddenly we are surfing waves of wonder, bathing in presence and seeking treasure. 

This magic substance each person carries pours forth in an environment of open-ness. When we let go of reasons to see our separation and instead focus on finding the familiar within another, softening happens. Deepening the breath helps. It feels like a blossom unfurling in the warmth of the sun. Tender. Velvety. Moist. There is a yielding to emotions as precious gems. We learn to wear them like royal robes, welcoming them. They adorn us with their beauty.

There is something deeply feminine about creating space for this type of surrender. The ability to take a room of 20 strangers, many guarded, fearful and some skeptical, and transform it into an intimate tribe of sisters sharing laughter, tears and wild dancing in only three hours. It is about creating environments which allow ripe, bodacious, flamboyant expressiveness. Providing a poetic and colorful celebration of the miracles held within each person. By helping those there feel succulent, free and seen for who they really are, the walls fall down.

I decided to attend the next 10 closed circles starting this coming Tuesday to deepen my explorations further. I know I am being guided to bask in the glow of engoddessment for a planetary purpose. I can't wait to see where this leads me...

Nurturing Intimacy

 

Last night I had my monthly goddesses' collage-making event. 12 of us gathered in my cottage by a roaring fire to share art, talk, poetry, healing and yummies. The topic was intimacy, what is it? how do you create it? how to you deepen it? It was a magical evening! Above is my collage... it is interesting for me to see my conscious and unconscious at play with this topic. Below are some new beliefs I am playing with as a result:

Creator's definition of intimacy is my definition of intimacy~ it is ever expansive, infinite, intrinsic and available to me in every moment!

My DNA downloads the vibration of true intimacy!

Every cell of my body is alive and active and seeking to share tenderness!

My energetic being is attuned to seek familiarity with others!

I habitually beam understanding and kindness to those who surround me. 

It is safe to open my heart, feel deep emotions and allow them to take me over.

Deep emotions are wise, safe and fun!

Emotions are beautiful, luminous gifts!

I can feel a tidal wave of emotions and still be safe, grounded and fully accepted!

It is fun to surrender completely and know that all is well!

I take time every day to nurture myself and do things which make me feel loved!

I find reasons to appreciate myself and dwell on them frequently.

I anticipate full acceptance and love from everyone around me.

In every moment I speak with radical honesty!

I love initiating physical contact to open my heart's flow. 

I habitually touch those around me in a way which shares respect, love and appreciation.

I nurture authentic communication with my family and regularly initiate opportunities for heart-felt talks.

I seek and create gatherings for women which strengthen and inspire us all!

I speak to at least five friends a day by phone or in person as a deliberate way of creating warm emotions in my heart.

I use my imagination to soften my energy field, become more radiant and accepting.

I look for things which I share in common with others and allow that to create feelings of commonality.

I regularly reach out to those whom I most admire! 

I actively initiate new friendships with the most inspiring people I know.

I appreciate what makes others unique from myself and am inspired by our differences.

I delight in giving myself utterly and completely to my partner! I hold nothing back!

I find my soft spot and soften it even more!

Affirmations for Heart-Opening Yumminess

  

Today I had a wonderful Theta healing session with my friend, Dawn Light. Here are some affirmations which unfolded as a result...

Several times a day I take time to notice how my heart feels.

I bask my heart in a never-ending stream of gentle aceptance!

Creator teaches me how to slowly open my heart like a flower in any situation!

Creator shows me the purpose of why I am in relationship with every person close to me.

I look at all my relationships from a deeper soul perspective.

I focus on things I share in common with those around me.

I focus on the divine purpose I share with those closest to me.

I can instantly choose to soften and become luminous!

I frequently reflect upon how far I've come in this life journey. 

I send love to myself in the past and to myself in the future. 

I send love to the past, present and future selves of those close to me!

I open to receive transmissions of love from my future self!

I invite my heart to stretch and expand it's capacity for electromagnetic vibrance!

I allow honey-like sweetness to well up within me and overflow!

I savor beauty, life and the gift of relationships!

I strengthen my spirituality by surrounding myself with others who's hearts are open.

Creator's endless strength to unconditionally love is my strength!
